The Eagle has gone! The Eagle has gone! What will we do now? How can we move on? He came like a rocket And left like a bomb, There's no need to worry, He'll be back anon.
The Eagle has left! The Eagle has left! His forehands were spinny, His backhands were deft! His serving was rubbish, His hair was a mess; In leaving the Ladder, He left us bereft.
